Liverpool FC Map - Exclusive Edition for Liverpool Football Club
Designed by Dorothy exclusively for Liverpool Football Club. Launched for the 2019/2020 season and available exclusively on the Liverpool FC online store.
After seeing our original Football Map, LFC approached us and asked us to design a screen print exclusively for their store. Being a studio of Reds (let's not mention the single Man City fan) we jumped at the chance.
Take a closer look at our imaginary map of Anfield stadium and the surrounding areas. ALL the names of the roads, parks and landmarks are made up entirely from references to this great club.
From the Steve Heighway dual carriageway that cuts through the top right of the map, to Gerrard Drive, Andy Robertson Cross, Fabinho Pass and Trent Alexander-Arnold Corner. The map features three castles belonging to King Kenny, The Egyptian King and Pepe Reina, marshland named after Ian Rush, a Casey Stoney quarry, a Patrik Berger takeaway and two supermarkets Aldo and Liddell (think about it!). Numerous pubs including The 12th Man and songs such as You’ll Never Walk Alone.
The map also features references to iconic locations related to the club such as Melwood, The Kop and the Boot Room and references to fanzines like Empire of The Kop and The Anfield Wrap, not forgetting much loved local businesses like Anfield's very own Homebaked (best pies ever - match day wouldn't be the same without them!).
There is a roll call of all of Liverpool FC's team mangers who have been involved in the club's historical journey and who feature as stops on a railway line and we've even squeezed in references to Liverpool's historic wins in the form of road names, including the the team's recent A19 to Madrid.
