We would love you to join us on Friday 15th November 5-7pm at the opening of our new show 'Disconnections - The Art of Disco‘ which is a retrospective of some of the best artwork from the golden age of disco (1972 - 1982).
Featuring work by the American artist James McMullan who illustrated the 1976 New York magazine article 'Inside the Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night’ which went on to inspire the film ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and also featuring over over 90 original record covers from labels like Casablanca, Megatone, T.K. Disco, Philadelphia International, Prelude, Salsoul, Solar, West End, Unidisc and ZYX celebrating the artwork of Greg Porto and many other unsung music industry designers, illustrators, photographers and art directors.
Join us after the opening for more drinks and a disco inspired DJ set at Yonder Cafe on Simpson Street from 7pm.
